CAPTAIN ONE COAT" PLASTER is manufactured specifically for
thin surface- finishing coat application on a wall that is leveled
or plastered with sand and cement, to provide a very smooth
but sturdy and durable surface.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES
• Easy to apply: Augmented with Calcium Sulphate Hemi Hydrate, the plaster is
known
for its great coverage ability, and is easy to work with.
• Shrinkage-resistant, strong bonding: The plaster has a gradual setting time of
10 to 15
minutes and attains full strength once set, without any shrinkage cracks.
• Low density and higher coverage: Since it has low density, a 25kg bag of
plaster can
cover an area of approx. 20 to 22 sq. It., when applied in 12mm thickness.
• No water curing required: The plaster does not require curing after
application, which
helps save water and time.
• High endurance level: The plaster makes for a resilient but silky smooth
surface that
can withstand great impact.
• Low thermal conductivity: Non-combustible, having very low thermal
conductivity (K-
Value), the plaster is made to protect the walls from thermal damage.
HOW TO APPLY
• CAPTAIN ONE COAT" is normally applied in 12mm thickness. It is very easy to
mix and
apply on the rigid surfaces like plastered walls
• Mark the wall vertically, with level strips, checked with straight edge or
line and level by
using an aluminum square tube.
• Mark the highest spots with a minimum 3mm thickness to keep the overall
thickness
under control.
• Wet the wall suitably, at least 10 minutes prior to the application so that
all trapped air
can be displaced to allow the plaster to attain good contact and strength with
the wall.
• While mixing, take care to add the plaster to the water and not the other way
around.
Use clean potable water to avoid contamination. Mix both to a workable
consistency.
Once ready, apply the mix to the walls according to the level strips markings.
• For best results, apply a tight coat with firm pressure, using the trowel.
• Plaster the entire surface in line and level it out. Once it starts to set,
complete the
application with a final stroke of the trowel.
